Intention is the foundation stone of all energy work. When you have a clear intention, or goal, for a therapy session in whatever modality you are practising then odds you will make some progress assuming it is in the Highest Good of the subject for the session.
Clear intention is also the foundation stone of how we can manifest or attract “things” into our life. Fundamentally, the principles behind attracting something into our life are pretty simple. We are electro-magnetic energy systems with a consciousness and therefore when we make a clear intention which is for our Highest Good, then we magnetically attract it into our energy and “Hey Presto!” it appears. So, stop reading my nonsense right now and go off and manifest the reality you desire…. Or is there just a little something more that we need to pay attention to … which might need a little more explanation…
Much has been written about the Law of Attraction, many workshops have been done and still many people ain’t manifesting what they consider their dreams to be. Unfortunately, a few of the people who teach about the laws of attraction and manifestation and the like got a little too focused on the material world. Books and films and people seemed to suggest that we could attract material wealth, happiness and many other wonderful things into our world with reasonably little application our part. Magic, huh? Well actually yes, it is in a way for sure….when you get it “right” or when you know what’s “right” for you.
What a lot of these people forget to mention (or maybe didn’t know in the first place) is that crucial sentence …“for our Highest Good”. And that, of course, is crucial…and easily forgotten by our personalities. What is in not line with our Soul or Life plan or Highest Good is unlikely to materialise….maybe not until the time is right…or maybe not in this lifetime. All of us can spend a lot of energy trying to manifest the perfect partner, the perfect job, the dream house or whatever it might be that we believe is right, but a lot of these are things that our personalities want and often these can simply be irrelevant to the plan of our Soul.
As an example … material wealth might actually be decidedly unhelpful for someone whose Soul plan is to be happy with very little money. We live in a world where there is an over-emphasis on what we have as defining the happiness of a person, so it’s fairly natural to want more…but it might not be what our Soul wants. And our Soul is invariably the boss…
On the other hand, what we perceive as failure to manifest said thing doesn’t necessarily mean said thing isn’t part of our Soul Plan. It might mean there is a challenge that we have to overcome in order to be able to move forward and achieve that said thing.
Blocks may be in several areas (and I am going to oversimplify here for the sake of an easy read) …
Conscious mind – an ongoing record playing…how we talk to ourselves…an obvious example is ”I am not good enough”…”I don’t deserve…” – you might be able to work through this with affirmations or similar … or go see a good hypnotherapist or both. The source of this is likely to be in the….
Unconscious mind –…as well as other records which you might not be so conscious of…. might be current life stuff or past life stuff where we took vows of poverty/similar that need to be released – go see a good hypnotherapist or more preferably a regression therapist
Higher Mind/ Soul / Superconscious – might not necessarily be a permanent block – it might be a challenge you have to overcome/learn before you can do x….go and see a good Life between Lives therapist and find out what your Soul plan is….finding that out is very helpful anyway. A good (and I mean good) channel or clairvoyant may also be of use in this area too.
Abundance/prosperity is a state of mind too and a feeling in the body, and often a deeper knowing. It is not necessarily to do with the aspect of materialism on our Earthly plan, it is more to do with the aspect of having the “right” experiences in our lives and that comes from having a connection to the Universe. We all have that connection of course, but do we actually work with it, nurture and sustain or invest in some way…a belief or a knowing.
I believe that I learnt the secret of manifestation (or at least what works for me) a few years ago from a Spiritual teacher called Caroline Myss – I will paraphrase again for the sake of any easy read. She said that all manifestation techniques are nonsense!! If you want to manifest then as part of your morning ritual – meditation, teeth brushing, whatever that means to you– then simply say each day “How can I be of service?” and everything else just flows from there.
That works for me and my life does flow fairly abundantly….definitely not in the way my personality to desire but I am very comfortable with the knowing that I am working through my learnings for this life. I haven’t manifested my healing centre yet but maybe that is something I am working towards, maybe that is something that isn’t in my Soul Plan or maybe that is something that someone reading this newsletter (or a friend of theirs) will ring me up about in the next few days….who knows?
Have a great month
